With the end of Crusade and the great reduction in the volume of
posts by JMS, I have decided the time has come to discontinue
production of the Digest. I will continue to collect and repost any
JMS traffic through at least the end of September, but unless SciFi
(or somebody) picks up Crusade and the message volume increases the
Digest will end no later than the end of this year. What a ride it
  has been!

JMS,

Have your heard of any more new series (or old) that have adopted the
Babylonian method of organized production?

Not that I've heard, in terms of production, though in terms of
story arc, the guys who do E:FC have said in print that they want to do
a B5 style arc, and a few others are doing the same.

First of all, let me say that Babylon 5 was my favorite TV show of all
time. So much so, in fact, that I signed on with Columbia House when
the videos became available.

Everything was going well until a month or so ago, when they skipped
over several episodes of season 2 and went straight into season 3. The
episodes skipped were:

In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum Confessions and Lamentations Divided Loyalties
The Long, Twilight Struggle Comes the Inquisitor The Fall of Night

Needless to say, I was very disappointed and called Columbia House to
see what went wrong. The only response I got was that they were
looking into the problem.

Any light you can shed on this will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any direct knowledge of this, only what other fans
have conveyed, which is that for whatever bizarre reason, CH doesn't
"have access" to those episodes. I don't know or understand why that
would be.
