In a message from you I read some time ago, you mentioned that you'd like to
do Eric Frank Russell's book, "Men, Martians, and Machines" as a film
script. With your improved cachet is this possible more so than before?

I'm a big fan of Russell's work, and I'm quite surprised that none of his
novels have made it to the big screen. (Especially "Wasp" and "And Then
There were None", which both seem to have great potential)

In this time when so much seems to be reboots and reimagining, there is so
much that hasn't been made into films from great writers like Russel, Simak,
and Van Vogt, and it seems that someone who appreciates the works would make
a great person to realize them as screen plays if the people who hold the
rights can come to an agreement on them.

I also feel that it's a sad state that I have to constantly explain to
people who Russell and Van Vogt are, and more recognition on two great
writers would both get their works more well known and also save me some
time in explanation.

It's certainly an option for down the road.
