Hello, this is Bryan S. Kim, one of the program co-chairs for HotStorage'26. Thank you for your response. We made the announcement about workshop registration based on the e-mail from the SOSP'26 workshop chair (Dimitris), dated Aug. 17, 2026.

Are the definitions for "full" registration different between the SOSP main conference and the SOSP workshops? We would be happy to send a clarification e-mail to the HotStorage'26 attendees once we clearly and coherently understand the registration policies
The requirement for "one full (non-student) registration" applies to the main conference only. So, if you publish on the workshop only, it is not required, although highly encouraged. So, it's up-to-you. All your proposed options are possible.

Please let us know how you decide. If you go with one of your proposed options or keep it as it is.
