Will you ever publish the series bible? I would think it would be a
great way to study how a series evolves from ideas to finished product.
I also wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed the series. I've
been going back and watching old episodes, which I had the foresight
to tape, and I have been amazed at how much foreshadowing you have
done (no pun intended) regarding the shadows. Almost from the
beginning you were giving signs and portents of what was to come.
I stand in awe. I'm going to have to start paying more attention. It
seems that everything in an episode may have more than one meaning.
I like tv that makes me think.
Thank you,
Dorothy Burgess

The writer's bible would be nifty, yeah, but what I'd give a minor organ
to posess is the "Guide To Writing Science Fiction For TV" (or whatever
it's titled) that Harlan Ellison put together for the series. I honestly
think that having such a work published could cause a quantum leap in the
quality of SF on TV.

[JMS, if you're reading this, here's another person wishing Harlan a
speedy recovery from his medical troubles.]

No, the series bible is really a very general thing and was only really
used much in the first year; it's now very much out of date.
