Joe,

I had a blinding revelation last night -- you know, the sort of thing that
the TV Guide piece said you had in the shower that led to B5. I had mine
while brushing my teeth, so maybe it has something to do with bathrooms.
But I digress.

I think I've got it. The Third Age of Mankind, what the Shadows want (and,
more importantly, what the *Vorlons* want), what Sheridan's dream meant,
the whole ball of wax. It all came to me at once, and I hope I'm right,
because if I am its gonna be a hell of a ride. (Of course, it also
probably will be if I'm wrong, but I digress again.)

You can tell me if I'm on the right track by answering one innocuous
question that will be meaningless to those not inclined to slog through
hundreds of pages of difficult poetry: When I read Milton's "Paradise
Lost," I found myself tending to sympathize with the arguments Satan was
making (much to Milton's dismay, I'm sure). Does this mean I'm *really*
likely to be one of your infamous "one-third who agree with the Shadows'
motives, if not their methods?"

Thanks for the great show,

Ryan Spaight

If by this you mean "better to reign in hell than serve in heaven," then
no, that ain't it.
