I was just reviewing some other posts, and a thought occured to me.
Way, way, way back in "Chrysalis", Delenn had Lennier ask Kosh, "Have
the Shadows returned to Z'ha'dum?", which was revealed in "In the Shadow
of Z'ha'dum" as Yes. This seemed to almost convince Delenn to follow
the path.
What's the big deal about Z'ha'dum? I mean, would Shadows running
around, but not on Z'ha'dum, make them a push over? Delenn did mention
that in the previous war they had "returned to their places of power",
but moved to quickly and were pushed off Z'ha'dum. When the Icarus
landed, the Shadows already appeared to be there. Does Z'ha'dum offer
some power that can't be found elsewhere? Perhaps a "Great Machine"
type construct?
  Theories?

Yeah...you'd almost think there was something or someone there that they
considered important.
