Greetings, Mike, from Maine.

First I have a requst. Can you please get your people to put the
name of the episode at the end? I sometimes miss the beginning of
the show and thus the title, I can't respond always with a title.

The episode I just saw was the one with the monk who had the mind
wipe. Let me tell you, the scene where he was dying was very
moving, a _great_ episode.

It hit home, the decisions we sometimes have to make to become
more than human. The striving to become spiritual. Self sacrifice
for a higher goal. Forgiveness.

Your show is really better than any other sci fi show on TV. You
constantly hit on themes that are at the root of what makes humans
human. The struggle we must make to survive. Great stuff.

We here in Maine are just going through a tragedy where a mental
case killed two elderly nuns and assulted two others. It was
interesting that the priests and bishop resposible for the convent
said that God is forgiving. He didn't say humans. Can they, or we,
other humans, forgive such a creature?

In my opinion not only do we need mind wipes, but sterilization
to get these kinds of genes out of the human pool.

Thanks. The only problem with putting the title at the end of
the episode, in the closing credits, is that many stations chop off the
end credits altogether. So it's best to have them in the beginning.

I just learned today that Richard Biggs has the ... distinction
.. of being the first B5 star (that I know of) to be interviewed
for Playgirl. (I only read it for the articles.)

I think that you are going to be getting a whole new influx of
fresh viewers this month. <G>

Dear Mr Straczynski,

I asked my dady "Where do baby Narn come from?".

He says they come from the mummy Narn's tummy and the dady Narn
carries the baby Narn in his pouch on his tummy.

Is this true?

So finally they're going to show some new episodes of B5. It's
about time don't you think. B5 is slowly becoming the show that
television forgot. I saw a listing of all syndicated shows, and
the repeats B5 has placed in 57th out of 75 shows. Alot of people
are getting a bit tired of this bit of hit and run programming.
Ratings for first ones have dropped off a bit, and that is mostly
from lousy time slots. WB nows controls B5, and I am curious to
see if they're going to let a full season run. I for one am tired
of this game being played out. I hope other people would be too
instead of mindlessly sitting in from of the tv sets humming B5
mantras, and vent their anger at those responsible for B5s
programming methods. I get the feeling at times that WB is trying
to kill this show.So come people go write those letters, and say
I'm not going to take it any more! Run a complete season! Quit
playing games!

"57th out of 75 shows." Just to correct you: that figure is from
the Christmas period rerun, which was low for everybody, and second,
it's not out of 75 shows, that's usually just the top batch they list,
it's 57th that week out of 275 syndicated shows. Usually we do in the
40s out of 275, which puts us in the top 20% of all syndicated shows.

                                                                  jms

I really don't think they fell for the trick. I'm sure they knew
exactly what Ivannova was doing, but should they refuse after what
Ivannova had said, they would have looked like wimps. They weren't
guillable, they just elt they couldn't say no, because they would
loose face.

The other part, I think, is that they were kind of amused to see
this dinky little ship getting in their face, when they *knew* the
First Ones could blast 'em to bits....

On a related note, I am surprised that Sheridan and Garibaldi
didn't recognize Morden's voice.

This brings up two important questions:

How are we among syndicated dramas?

How happy is WB?

Usually we're in the top ten of all syndicated dramas; WB is
making money on the show's advertising, which is their main concern, so
insofar as I have heard, they're happy.

 OK, what about Centauri...

If the female has her orifices in her back...

Where does she carry the baby?

Where does it come out of?

Is it a proper baby or is it a wriggly octopussy thing that turns
into a humanoid later?

How big is it?

Do they live in water?

Do baby boy Centauri have to wear wigs?
