I was happy that the fourth book finally had more to do with the
Arc than the last three. Which brings my question: In the book
Morden takes D'Arc at the end. Will this finally be a case where
a book has direct connection to what will be coming up in the
series? Will we see D'Arc on the show?

This is my first public post to you, so excuse my required (and
well deserved) initial compliments, but I love the show and can't
wait for each week's episode.

Anyway, on to the question/comment. Being a guy, this may sound
odd coming from me, but I *really* enjoy the building romantic
tension between Sheridan and Delenn. But I've been having
cold-sweats lately fearing that you may never bring their
relationship beyond that flirtation/compassion level. I know you
can't tell me what they will become (if anything), but can you
let me sleep nights by letting me know you won't just forget about
their relationship? I'd love to see them get together
romantically.

I would say it's fair to say I do plan to do more with that
relationship as we get deeper into the story. And thanks.

Joe,

Just wanted to extend a compliment of the left handed sort. I was
disappointed by Exogenesis (I was kind of expecting to be, based
on your comments), it just seemed to...well...kinda trail off
toward the end.

That said, you are deserving of praise for the B story line,
short though it was, with Corwin, and the fact that even though
the A story line was weak, it was enjoyable to watch *because I
like the characters so much*.

You have built yourself a real safety net, in that there has been
such good character development, or rather, development of
*questions* that we want answered about the characters, that even
when the plot hangs a little, it's still a hell of a lot of fun to
listen to them talk.

On the subject of Corwin and Marcus, while we have seen very
little of the characters, I really felt like the *actors* (and
you) have put a *lot* of though into them, even though they were
not on screen. Usually I expect there to be an ep or two where a
new character will be a little cardboard before the actor *gets
it*, but in the case of Marcus (who has had a *little* time on
screen of course) I was *very* impressed by the performance.

Corwin is even more remarkable. We have seen this guy in the
background *forever* but he just *JUMPED* out of the screen
totally 3 dimentional in the *first scene* he ever had more than 3
lines in. It was *wonderful*.

Even when you have an off day, your background, dialogue, take up
*lots of slack*, and excellent support (actors, production
people, etc) and their usual first class effort, really help pull
things up.

As I said, I was a bit disappointed, but I *still* watched it
more than twice *just for the character development*.

Regards,

Phil^^^^

Thanks (I think). Yeah, I've said from the git-go that in my
view the second half of Exo isn't up to the first half. It is, in my
view, the weakest of this season's 22. On the flip side, that means
the other 21 are pretty nifty.

Agree with you on Marcus. I'm finding I have the same problem
with him I have with Londo...getting him to shut up once I wire him up
and let him go. He's a lot of fun to write, in that he can do the
physical action stuff very well, he can do comedy, more dramatic
emotional stuff...the whole range. I can take him places and do things
with him that I can't in some ways for the other characters, in that he
has only one responsibility, whereas the others have larger
responsibilities to more people.

                                                                  jms

Like... Rangers, Sheridan, Sinclair, Lyta, and now G'Kar are
good, close friends of the Vorlons? Or more like just Lyta?

re:The Long Twilight Struggle :

I'm new here, so apologies if this is old ground for everyone -

a) In the Narn/Shadows battle, a Shadow ship is damaged by a
combined Narn attack - The Shadow ship seems to be totally
immobilised, was it really this badly hurt that the loss of one
part of one of it's 20 'limbs' (yes I've counted them!) causes
this ? - how tough are they ?

b) Is it possible that the bit of 'limb' is still floating in
orbit ? - for someone to collect and analyze? - or can the Vorlons
just tell us everything about Shadow tech ?

Be seeing you, Draco (Who's in the UK - ain't seen S3
yet...)

I'll make another prediction. When that happens some of your
most vicious critics will be telling people about how they watched
and supported the show from the beginning.

       Absolutely.

And I'm looking forward to it.
