JMS,

I read your reply to the SFWA's letter inviting you to rejoin their group.
You mentioned that you were disappointed at the opportunities which have
been lost due to the lack of cooperation between "literary" and "media"
types in the SF field. I was just wondering if anyone had considered
forming a new organization. It could be called "The Association of
Multi-media Writers of Science Fiction" or something similar. I realize
that you don't have the time to run something like this, but has it been
considered? It wouldn't necessarily have to give out its own awards, but
could promote communication between SF writers in various fields.

Just a thought.

Keep up the good work!

Peace,
Mike

It is my firm belief that it is a mistake to hold firm beliefs.

I dunno about new groups...the more I see of SFWA, the more I begin to
understand why writers work alone....
