I've been battling a cold for a couple of weeks now. I went to the
doctor and got an antibiotic that gave me stomach cramps and a
decongestant.

Then I read that JMS recommends zinc lozenges. I say, what the heck,
and go buy some.

They claim to have a "pleasant fruity taste". Yes, if you don't think
about it too much. <g> And they do dissolve fairly quickly.

The kicker is that I'm feeling much better. Don't know whether to lay
that at the feet of the Great Maker and his recommendation or not; but I
would never have known about zinc lozenges without him.

I'd never have known about a lot of things without B5.

Your best bet is to combine the zinc lozenges with chewable vitamin C, usually
at a base of about 2 to 1 in favor of the C. I have found, each time, that it
cuts down the symptom and duration of the cold or flu 30-50%. Just be sure to
eat something with it, because the acidity can build up pretty fast otherwise.
