Of late, I have discovered when watching American TV shows that are
neither "Babylon 5" nor comedies, I feel vaguely irritated when the bad
guys show up. It's as though I don't mind looking in and saying "Hi!"
to the characters, 'cause they're generally cute, but I can't be
bothered with what passes for plot in their lives.

Has exposure to "Babylon 5" innoculated me against the mass of US TV?

Maybe...meanwhile, continue to take two episodes and call me in the morning.
