Regarding the tower: very PRIAPIC.  (so common in SF. gee i wonder why )
Not to mention that thing crawling on Ivanova's face during the dream.  Thats a
dirty trick to play on a gay character ;-)  but in keeping with a "nightmare"!

us design both the creature, the artifact, and the dark city.
