Spoilers "Sleeping in Light"

Thank you for a beautiful ending. I have a "details" question.

It's a scene I soon will have memorized. The last words John and Delenn
say to each other have the texture of >ritual< to me. "The minbari
have a ritual for everything." By the language rules you have established
in the course of the series sometimes what we hear as English is
to be understood as spoken in another language. What I want to believe
is that the beginning words--personal & private--of that scene
were spoken in English, but that the two lines of dialog after the embrace
were traditional and minbari. After so long on Minbar, John would have
gained some fluency.

We didn't hear: "I will see you again in a place where no shadows fall"
It took me a while to realise that because what we saw seemed so right.
It's a reason for me to make the above observation. In the context of
your world-building, the "Good Night" verse and response seem to have a
different (older?) origin; a portion of the ritual Going to Sea.

Yes, there was some element of ritual in their goodbyes; it's a Minbari
farewell, hence the "good night," not goodbye.
