Hey Joe,
I think that everyone who is a regular in this forum, and has watched
the show for any length of time can see just how far you and everyone
involved in bringing B5 to us have pushed the envelope when it comes
to putting a quality show on television.
Last night, I was browsing the latest issue of TV Guide (the Canadian
Edition) and was intrigued by the description of Mercy Point's premise
as: "Think of it as ER meets Babylon 5."
I'm just curious what your reaction is to new shows being compared to
B5. From other things you've said, I think you were half expecting it
- but now that it's happening, what are your thoughts?
I'd also like to thank you - and everyone else connected to B5 for
their efforts. I've been with the show since the pilot first aired -
followed it as it was shifted from station to station and timeslot to
timeslot. It was worth it. While I'll miss new B5 episodes - I look
forward to Crusade.

I'm fine with it, though each show should be allowed to find its own identity,
it shouldn't have to feel (nor should its viewers have to feel) it must be
compared with B5.
That we've been able to create a new paradigm in SF TV is a niceness, and the
notice is welcome and long-overdue.
