JMS,

I have received my copy of the B5 bible and treatment. I read it
straight through. I enjoyed it. Thanks for making it available.

Now some spoiler space for those of you who haven't received it, or
haven't ordered it.

That should be enough space. (maybe more than enough LOL).

What I enjoyed most was seeing how you moved some of the pieces of
peoples lives around. I can't find it know but one of your suggested
stories was Garibaldi talking with his father in the hospital, not
Ivanova. Or the fact that you mentioned in the bible Franklin was
divorced with two kids, that didn't come out in the show (to my
recollection). So many ideas to play with, so little TV time to show
it.

Again, my thanks for making both available. For me, it helps me
understand and appreciate the characters more. You have put much
thought, time and effort into this endeavor. I am sure I agree with
many fans saying our thanks and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we
have.

The illustrations by Peter Ledger are great. Seeing what you thought
Delenn would look like in the treatment made me chuckle at the fact
ideas can change over time. That would have made the story really
interesting with Sheridan marrying a Delenn that looks related to Kanjar
Ro from Justice League #3.

I have a couple of questions about some other items you mentioned in the
bible. 1) You mentioned the two copies of 200 page five year story arc
"in triple-encrypted computer files." Any chance of that appearing on
the fan site for sale? Is that what you are basing the novels? Does a
snowball in hell have a better chance of staying a snowball in hell than
the arc making a public appearance?

The other item was the B5 Resource Guide. The same questions apply for
that as the above item - will it be available for sale? Are the novels
using that for the basis?

>From one appreciative fan, keep up the good work in whatever you do
(currently Rising Stars). You have given us a taste of what could be on
TV instead of what is. May we, as watchers, become active to bring
about what could be and get rid of what is.

Dan S.

The first was a story that Larry looked at in the treatment and suggested would
be better given to Ivanova since Garibaldi had already had a lot of
character-related exposure. And as for the latter...I didn't get a chance to
bring it up early on, and finally vetoed the thing as laying in too many
threads, especially since an ex-wife would end up playing significantly in the
Sheridan thread.
