Looks like SciFi is mucking with its schedule yet again. Friday and
Saturday Prime, as we know it, is going away. Beginning September 1,
Saturday will be replaced by a series of movies (all horror).
Beginning September 17, Babylon 5 becomes a 4 night a week show as
Prey is shown instead of B5 on the 21st (why?). On the 28th, The
Chronicle moves to the 7 p.m. Friday slot, followed by The Invisible
Man at 8:00 and a horror movie at 9:00. The Invisible Man and the
Scinema Event are repeated at 11:00.

Could this be the beginning of the end for Babylon 5? After all, they
have to make room for all those horror movies. We all know what
hard-core science fiction they are. :-/

OTOH, I just spent practically the last year glued to my television at
7:00 each evening and watched the entire story straight through...
twice. Maybe I need to get outside and start going for a walk each
evening. Hmm... I *have* gained a little weight. ;-)

Just my 2 cents.

Neil

About every few months there's a sky-is-falling message like this...the very
simple fact of the matter is that ANY show that is stripped daily for months on
end is going to start to get diminished returns because all the available
audience has seen it. That it has still stayed generally in the top 10 this
long is pretty much of an aberration. The first time we met with SFC they said
they'd put it on until they more or less ran it into the ground, then rest it
for a while.

These aren't new episodes, they're on their, what, twelfth/fifteenth run by
now, all in?

It has no bearing on anything.
