For those who haven't seen it yet, Newsweek's David Ansen has given a very
positive review to TLOTR:Fellowship of the Ring saying "It has real
passion, real emotion, real terror, and a tactile sense of evil that is
missing in that other current movie dealing with wizards, wonders and
wickedness."

Additionally Rolling Stone's critic Peter Travers has said it"Towers like
a colossus over other all the other Hollywood Movies released this year",
rating it at #1 (above Ali) in his 'studio' list (he has another one for
in dependant films.)

So are you going to see it when it opens Joe?

I don't think I'll be there first day because it's going to be sheer
madness...but I'll definitely be there within a few days, because I've been
living just to see this movie.

To tell the truth, to see all three of these movies, even in rough cut for the
latter two, I'd fly to the UK on my own dime and crawl, naked and bleeding,
through five miles of broken glass and monkey vomit, just to see them. So
Peter Jackson, if you're out there...you know where to find me.
