At the moment I'd rather watch reruns of B5 than some of the slop that is
gracing our screens these days.

Every now and then I enjoy the Xfiles, or get a laugh out of Xena or
Buffy...or even revisit Voyager....but nothing grabs me the way B5 did.

Is there any scifi out there worth watching on a regular basis?

I was curious about Black Scorpion, but when I saw the website it really
turned me off. Every female guest star looks like she used to be a
playmate...like you need a double DD cup to qualify and yet the men are
reasonably diverse as villains. It's all eye candy, and rather juvenile (but
these are only my first impressions).

Thank you JMS for at least writing a show that has interesting strong female

I'll just go back to watching my vid collection until someone can point me
towards some quality shows.

Thanks for listening to my rant ;)

Purely subjective opinion on my part, but the best writing these days seems to
be showing up in:

West Wing

Those are my must-see TV programs. I've also been impressed with the
improvement in writing on Roswell. I kinda like Ed but I usually end up
watching it through parted fingers 'cause for someone who grew up as socially
awkward as I did, it's just painful....
