I think your two statements are contradictory.  I've seen enough of jms'
writing not to judge him on other people's work.

I've taken a look at the thread containing the reactions and they're almost
all extreme, dismissive and resistant to change, with the exception of
Warren Ellis himself.  I'm always infuriated when people judge things out of
hand instead of giving it the benefit of the doubt and reading it with an
open mind.  That goes for any genre or medium.

I actually couldn't find it, so I have no way to judge it.  I think they're
likely responding to something they *think* I'm doing rather than what I'm
actually doing.
