It depends on how well it's done. It's annoying on ST:V because every week
they hit the "reset" button.
There are several times during B5 that we *do* find out what is going to
happen. But it's not annoying, it's gripping, because we have no idea how or
why.
It's the difference between lazy writing and real writing.

To answer the question...yes, Jerry had some ideas, and tried to put something
together, but the resources just weren't there.
