What with Joss Whedon having (starting next fall) 3 connected shows on 3
networks (WB, UPN, BBC), and you having two on 2 different networks
(with luck), do you see that sort of thing becoming more common? If so,
what effect do you foresee it having on the whole concept of
"networks"? On writers? On production companies?

Actually, it's been common for decades; producers routinely make shows for
different or competing networks.
