A couple of weeks ago I attended the final weigh-in of the Bass
Masters Classic at the Superdome in New Orleans (don't ask...) In
order to introduce all of the fishermen participating in the
tournament they used a filmed montage that included several well known
sci-fi ships and stations. To my surprise, one of these included my
favorite station, Babylon 5. Did Bass Masters have to obtain
permission to do this?
Not exactly the first question I imagined ever asking you (having been
a long, long time fan *where does the time go?!* And a happy
lurker)...but it did peak my curiosity. And I still haven't figured
out who decided on the connection between sci-fi and fishing, since I
have the feeling that very few of the people that were there
recognized any of the images (I know that none of the people I was
with had any idea what I was talking about when I started saying
"That's Babylon 5!! Did you see that? Babylon 5!!"
Thanks!!
Amy

I doubt they went through this trouble, and generally for something this brief
I don't think it's really much of an issue for WB or anybody else.
