Joe,
I've been a bit confused about what is the standard number of episodes a
series has per season. Babylon 5 had 22. I believe Star Trek: The Next
Generation had 26. Other shows have 20 or 24. Is there any set standard to
decide what constitutes a season? With the discrepancy between Star Trek
and B5, it doesn't sound like syndication or genre plays a factor. My guess
is it has to do with how much money the studio is willing to shell out each
season.

Any help in understanding this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Leo
