JMS,

As a long-time fan of B5[1], I wish to contribute back to the community
in some respect. I wish very much to create a fansite of some kind (the
exact details are blurry) and was wondering if it were permissible to
use still images from the episodes for discussion and comparison[2].

Obviously, the planned use of such images would be non-commercial, with
the appropriate credit given.

I'd like to make sure of this before I even start work on the site,
just so the Copyright Cops don't come after me.

Cheers!

[1] In my first post to this group earlier today, I made mention of the
fact that I saw the show intermittently when it was airing on network
TV in the US, loved it, but never fully grasped the story, due to the
intermittent watching. I am awaiting the releases of all the seasons on
DVD so I can more fully enjoy the series -- I have The Gathering / In
The Beginning and the first season already, and eagerly await the rest.

[2] For instance, to highlight various aspects of things in the show --
the difference between Delenn's "jaw augmentation" in The Gathering
compared to in the remainder of the series, for instance, or the
various jets on the Starfury firing to demonstrate how the show
included such details as accurate zero-g flight.

As far as I know, as long as proper attribution is given (i.e., (c) 1993 Warner
Bros) it shouldn't be a problem.
