It doesn't seem to me like you would, considering your experience with
Jeremiah, but, according to scifiwire

Andrew Foley, the guy who's doing a bunch of 'net comics based on the
show essentially continuing the story Showtime dropped, has said that
"Scott [Mitchel Rosenberg, chief of Jeremiah's production company,
Platinum Studios] refuses to give up on Jeremiah.  He's got a prequel
film set at the time of the Big Death in development."  Now, just
randmom supposition, you got anything to do with this?

And, if you're feeling generous, you could spill the beans on The
Memory of Shadows while you're at it.
