Just a quick note to Joe -- and anyone else out there who follows Amazing --
to say that this new one *rocks*!

The first half made me cry and the second half made my hair stand up.

I'd hate to put forward story ideas, but I can see about half a dozen creepy
outcomes of these new elements, each more vicious than the last.  And do I
see the potential for political commentary?  And for yet more Aunt May
action?

I loved the issue too, there's lots of potential for good storylines with 
the Parkers now living in Avengers Tower.

B5 fans might want to know that Peter David is starting a new Spidey ongoing 
late this summer. Previously Mark Waid was going to write it but he stepped 
down for some reason.

So looks like at least two Spider-Man books will be in good hands, my only 
fear is that Marvel is trying to shake up the status quo (with wrong 
methods) with their House of M event this summer.

 I have no desire to see Peter's marriage to MJ "retconned" out of existence 
as that would totally kill my interest in reading Spidey, and whatever other 
wild rumors there are flying around now. Hopefully these are just groundless 
rumors.

The only place I've heard anything about the MJ/Peter marriage being
retconned out of existence is on the nets.  It's total nonsense.

And yeah...I'm very happy with how the last issues of Spidey and
Supreme Power came out.  Also, for those interested, the Supreme Power
hardcover came out this week, with the first dozen issues, concept art,
an intro and other cool stuff.
