Ok, my statistics quibble went over so well a few volumes back, I
almost decided not to post this...yeah, right. :-)
In the comments on "Interludes and Examinations" in Volume 7 of the
script books, Joe writes of previewing the ep at MegaCon in Florida,
and that Pat Tallman and Richard Biggs had not yet seen the ep and
that Pat in particular could barely talk at the end of the screening.
One small possible problem. I think I was there. If I was there, it
was the 1996 Marcon con in Columbus, OH. The ep had not aired yet,
both Pat and Richard were there for the screening, and when the
audience gave a collective "Awwww!" at Pat's crying when the lights
came up, she flipped us the finger. :-)
(I did search for MegaCon-related posts and the guest lists/dates don't
seem to line up).
I have discussed this with my Significant Overunit and she suggested
the math involved in longitude and latitude may have confused Joe...
If you'll excuse me, I have to put my face back in the book... :-)
