Just idle speculation, but do you suppose this could be related to one 
of the JMS big secrets that he can't talk about yet?

The question is (A) Whether Ron understands what he's buying, and
(B)Has any idea how to produce a spectacle on that scale. It's never
really been done. A team composed of JMS, James Cameron, Stephen
Speilberg, Ang Lee, and Sam Raimi might be able to tackle it. Maybe.
