[Hotstorage-chairs] [EXTERNAL] [HotStorage 2026] HotStorage’26 Camera-Ready Instructions

Dear Veerasenareddy,

This is something that I should chime in as one of the program co-chairs.

We generally do not allow post-acceptance authorship changes, as doing so undermines the review process and conflict-of-interest (COI) declarations. Even if there are no COI concerns, I recommend that you review the ACM authorship policy<https://www.acm.org/publications/policies/new-acm-policy-on-authorship> and consider whether the added work for the camera-ready version warrants authorship.

More specifically, as stated in the ACM authorship policy, authors must "have made substantial and demonstrable intellectual contributions." If you think the authorship change is necessary, please reply with a detailed explanation as stated in our CFP.
Post-acceptance authorship change undermines the review process and the conflict-of-interest declarations. For authorship changes after acceptance, the authors must provide evidence that the change complies with the ACM authorship policy and does not affect conflict-of-interest declarations, along with a detailed explanation to the PC chairs about why the authorship change is necessary.
-Bryan S. Kim

Hi Chenhao,

I have received the email with link to publishing process that includes eRights form.

To address the feedback from reviewers and update the paper, we have couple of additional authors who are contributing to the camera ready version.

Can you please let us know if we can add two additional authors to the final version of the paper ?

Thanks & Regards,
VSR

Hi Alok,

I just resent the email. As a note, ACM by default only sent the eRights form to the corresponding author. In your case, it should be sent to Veerasenareddy Burru. Please let us know if you still cannot find the email.

Thanks,
Chenhao

Dear authors,

Congratulations again on the acceptance of your paper to HotStorage’26!

Please follow the instructions below when preparing your camera-ready

submission. *We highly recommend completing the eRights Form (action #2)

as soon as possible, as it takes time for ACM Digital Library to process

it before you can submit the final paper.*

The camera-ready deadline is **Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Anywhere on

Earth (AoE)**.

1. Format the paper properly

- Template: Please prepare your final paper using the latest ACM

template version 2.19 with 10pt font (i.e., your LaTeX file should use

`\documentclass[sigconf,10pt]{acmart}`). You can download the template

from

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.hotstorage.org_2026_files_hotstorage2026-5Fpaper-5Ftemplate.zip&d=DwIFaQ&c=nKjWec2b6R0mOyPaz7xtfQ&r=Qj20_cZkWXAFqNr-izZFek2OlLDmWE9MPvNfQbrTWW4&m=MAZZvuPNL34b17Ef9SX1hEJnu9TyI8eLDdARvkpHlj7NM9MhFal2WUoMGQc92FlC&s=T96y9kZbpD8FU7V42QNysAcbdO4mF_FczVcHunIvOpc&e=

. We apologize that previously the HotStorage’26 Call for Papers pointed

to an older version of the ACM template. If you used that version for

your original submission, please update your camera-ready paper to

version 2.19.

- Title: The camera-ready paper title should contain only the paper’s

actual title. Please do not include the submission type, such as

"Regular" or "Position," in the camera-ready version.

- Page limit: You can add one additional page to the camera-ready paper.

- Metadata: Make sure to include the proper CCS Concepts, Keywords, and

copyright information (see #2 below).

2. Complete ACM eRights Form

The authors should have received ACM eRights forms from a separate

email. Please complete this form promptly and carefully; the title,

author names, affiliations, and other metadata entered in eRights should

be accurate and consistent with the camera-ready version. If you have

not received this email, please let us know. *Authors whose forms are

pending will be unable to upload their final papers.*

The eRights form will require the ORCID of all authors. Authors who do

not already have one should register at https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fORCID.org&c=E,1,KpNityk0O7I7W5V1KxIdIcW7skLLsVoilXrIk170ymIZhJuJ0yVhqRUgG4WOxoPmqxiLQb33BacnSklBZh1BJr9Zm9DxmK3ydywVZTth1Q,,&typo=1<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fORCID.org&c=E,1,GjUYdTe4bxJZDJ7kndYSxz7vCeeKfSsARdnzdvFf3g-kQYHPN1aPNsSnskgUP7kiB-7X6xvSKixTAVaHMwlVaKf3Htf3B7KCjEuSqnbXy7tdPgOvifYa58Dm&typo=1&ancr_add=1> first.

After completing the eRights forms, the authors will be emailed the

rights text (bibliographic strip, ISBN, DOI, etc.). Authors must include

this text in their paper.

As rights management emails are sent from an automated system, these may

wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure the SPAM filter allows emails

from rightsreview at acm.org<mailto:rightsreview at acm.org>.

3. Submit the final version through TAPS

Final papers will be processed through The ACM Production System (TAPS).

After authors complete their eRights forms, they will receive a separate

email from TAPS within 12 hours. The TAPS email will contain

instructions for uploading source, supplementary, and auxiliary files

for processing. Please keep an eye on the emails from

tapsadmin at aptaracorp.awsapps.com<mailto:tapsadmin at aptaracorp.awsapps.com>

You may find the detailed workflow with TAPS at

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__authors.acm.org_proceedings_production-2Dinformation_taps-2Dproduction-2Dworkflow&d=DwIFaQ&c=nKjWec2b6R0mOyPaz7xtfQ&r=Qj20_cZkWXAFqNr-izZFek2OlLDmWE9MPvNfQbrTWW4&m=MAZZvuPNL34b17Ef9SX1hEJnu9TyI8eLDdARvkpHlj7NM9MhFal2WUoMGQc92FlC&s=WlQnpAkcyX11QQ9keeT-06OfO1H-W29ShTQIA76sv7I&e=

Best wishes,

Chenhao Ye & Duo Zhang
