The authors of Paper #55 mentioned that the eRights form had already been signed with an author list that included the three original authors and two additional authors.

Since the author list has now been restored to the original three authors, could you please help them reissue or re-sign the eRights agreement with the correct author list?

Thank you for your message and for your clear explanation of the policy. We sincerely apologize for this situation.

We had no intention whatsoever of undermining the integrity of the review process or the conflict-of-interest declarations.


The two additional authors were included because they contributed ideas during the preparation of the camera-ready

version, and we believed it was appropriate to acknowledge their intellectual contribution. However, we were simply

unaware that any post-acceptance authorship change requires prior approval from the Program Chairs along with a

detailed justification. This was an oversight on our part, and we fully accept the decision to restore the author list to

the original authors: Jaewoong Jung, Hyukyul Kang, and Jaegyu Choi.


We deeply appreciate your handling of this matter with such professionalism and clarity.


We do have one procedural question: we have already received and completed the ACM eRights process for the camera-

ready version. Could you kindly advise whether any additional steps are needed on our part to reflect the restored author

list, for example, re-issuing or re-signing the eRights agreement?

Dear Authors of Paper #55,

We noticed that the camera-ready version of your paper includes two additional authors, but to the best of our knowledge, no request or explanation for this post-acceptance authorship change was submitted to the Program Chairs by the authors.
Post-acceptance authorship changes are generally not permitted because they may undermine the integrity of the review process and the conflict-of-interest (COI) declarations. As stated in the Call for Papers, any such change requires prior approval from the Program Chairs, together with a detailed explanation and evidence that it complies with the ACM authorship policy and does not affect the COI declarations.



Since no request was made before the camera-ready submission, we are unfortunately unable to approve the authorship change at this stage. Therefore, we will restore the author list to the original authors: Jaewoong Jung, Hyukyul Kang, and Jaegyu Choi.




We appreciate your contribution to HotStorage 2026, and we believe the attendees will find your work very interesting. However, as Program Co-Chairs, we have a responsibility to ensure the integrity of the peer review process and the consistent application of the ACM authorship policy.
