[Hotstorage-chairs] Interest in Serving as a PC Reviewer — HotStorage 2026 (AWS Cloud Storage & Distributed Systems)

 Dear Young-ri and Bryan,

I am writing to express my interest in serving as a program committee
reviewer for HotStorage 2026, the 18th ACM Workshop on Hot Topics in
Storage and File Systems, co-located with SOSP 2026 in Prague, September
28–29.

I am a Database Engineer III at Amazon Web Services (AWS), with nearly
seven years of experience in cloud storage systems, distributed file
systems, and large-scale data management. My daily work directly addresses
the challenges HotStorage focuses on — I design, evaluate, and operate
cloud-native storage systems for enterprise customers globally, including
Amazon RDS storage backends, Aurora storage architectures, Amazon Redshift
distributed storage, and AWS DMS high-throughput storage pipelines. I work
daily with emerging storage challenges: cloud-native storage optimization,
disaggregated storage, AI/ML workload storage patterns, and operational
lessons from large-scale deployments.

I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign and am recognized as an AWS Database Migration Service
Subject Matter Expert. I am also a published author on the AWS Database
Blog, with four articles:
