The green check mark that appears next to the preference field indicates confirmation of your input. Potentially, the network connectivity could affect this. I do see that you have set your review preference for about twenty papers.

Sorry to bother you but after I set the prefs in the boxes how do I make
it persistent? I do not see any button for this. The "set selected"
seems to be doing something else... I have tried it 2-3 times  but not
sure if it has made it persistent (once it showed the 1st setting, not
the most recent).
