Dear author,
Following lengthy discussions with the HotStorage Steering Committee, we
regret to inform you that the Committee has recommended to prohibit all
three authors of your paper from submitting papers to HotStorage for the
next three years (HotStorage 2027–2029). This restriction applies to any
submission listing one or more of the three authors as a co-author, and
such submissions during this period will be desk-rejected.
This decision is based on the failure to comply with the workshop's
registration and presentation requirements:
1. The HotStorage 2026 Call for Papers explicitly required at least one
author of each accepted paper to attend the workshop and present the
paper in person.
2. We reminded authors that each accepted paper must be covered by at
least one full workshop registration.
3. Although the first author confirmed in the presenter information form
that they would present the paper, no author registered for or attended
the workshop, and the paper was not presented. The chairs received no
prior notice that the authors would not attend or present the paper.
This decision reflects the importance of consistently enforcing the
workshop's policies.
