Dear Bryan,

I am now trying to coordinate so that I can get them and hand over them to you.
It should be possible to get them early in the morning tomorrow. If anything changes, I'll keep you posted.

Regarding the posters, I think the boards should be set by 11am on Tuesday. So any time after this, they can be arranged.

Best,
Dimitrios

Dear Dimitrios,

Okay. In that case, we will announce the best papers on Monday, but do the award ceremony on Tuesday. Would it be possible to get them before 10:30am on Tuesday, for example, during the either the 8-8:30am registration or 10-10:30am coffee break?

Also, we also should give a heads-up to the workshop poster presenters about when, how, and where to setup the posters. The 10-10:30am coffee break on Tuesday sounds like a good time for people to set them up - is this what you had in mind?

Thank, and we look forward to great successes for all the SOSP workshops.

-Bryan

Dear Bryan,
The plan is that I receive the certificates on Tuesday because I'll arrive in Prague late on Monday.
So i can only hand them over on this day.

I hope it doesn't create any major issues.

Best,
Dimitrios

Dear Dimitrios,

Thanks again for coordinating with us for the best paper award certificates.

By any chance, would you happen to know when they will be available? We will announce the best papers on the first day of our workshop (Monday), but we understand if the certificates will be available on Tuesday.

Thank you.

Dear Bryan,

I asked, and I think the certificates are not printed yet, so I requested that they print the award title and names directly.
I am still waiting for a confirmation.

Once I get it, I will let you know.

Best,
Dimitrios

Dear Bryan,

I am also waiting to check them once printed but I can ask for the layout so that you know the dimensions.
I will try to do it today itself and let you know.

Best,
Dimitrios

Dear Dimitrios,

No worries, we understand.

By any chance, would you happen to know the layout of the certificate? We are thinking of printing the titles/names on adhesive transparent sheets.

If not, again, no worries. Thanks, and I hope to see you at SOSP.

Dear Bryan,

Unfortunately, I have already sent out the request to print the blank certificates.
I think it might complicate things if I changed the request now, since I think they'd have done that last week.

I hope it does not create big issues for you.

Best,
Dimitrios

Dear Dimitrios Stavrakakis,

Thank you for the notification and support. We plan to offer two awards to HotStorage’26 submissions:

  *
Award Title 1: Samsung Best Paper Award
  *
Workshop Name: The 18th ACM Workshop on Hot Topics in Storage and File Systems (HotStorage ’26)

  *
Award Title 2: FutureWei Best Paper Award
  *
Workshop Name: The 18th ACM Workshop on Hot Topics in Storage and File Systems (HotStorage ’26)

We are still in the process of identifying best submissions for the two awards. I’m copying our PC chairs in case they may have any updates in the near future. But in case we could not finalize the submission details by the deadline, is it possible to leave the field empty on the prints?

Thanks,
Travis Janssen & Mai Zheng,
