[Hotstorage-organizers] HS mailing lists/aliases status update (working again)

Dear HotStorage 2026 organizers,

With Mai and others’ help, I was able to debug more issues with hotstorage mailing lists and come up with a workaround.  Thankfully, we can now also resume using the older aliases such as chairs26 at hotstorage.org <mailto:chairs26 at hotstorage.org>.  The aliases now redirect to a Mailman list such as hotstorage-chairs at fsl.cs.sunysb.edu <mailto:hotstorage-chairs at fsl.cs.sunysb.edu>.  I had to play with various options, and figure out how use DKIM/DMARC to sign messages correctly (tricky for forwarded emails na mailing lists).  This should now work for all of the HS lists/aliases, and hopefully no changes to the web site are needed.

I was also able to recover a couple of lost emails from the mail server and resend them.

I’ll be monitoring things carefully over the next few days.
