[Hotstorage-organizers] Registration fees

Dear Mohammad,

There are two dimensions to consider: (1) whether or not you are an ACM member and (2) whether or not you are a student.

If you are an ACM member, you would have a membership number, which you would enter during registration. If you are an ACM student member, you would provide proof that you are a student on your membership page. If you are not an ACM member, you wouldn't have an ACM membership number to enter. In short, you are not required to register as an ACM professional member. This depends on your ACM membership status.

What I describe above is based on what I remember from when I was a student. If you have any issues with ACM membership, you should directly reach out to ACM.

Subject: [Hotstorage-organizers] Registration fees

Dear HotStorage Organizing Committee,

I hope you are doing well.

My paper, "Asclepius: Duplication and Heterogeneity-Aware Data Repair in Erasure-Coded Storage Systems," has been accepted to HotStorage, and I have a question regarding the registration.
As a PhD student, am I eligible to register as an ACM Student Member, or am I required to register as an ACM Professional Member?

Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

Mohammad Rizk
