Dear Alok,
Yes, the registration is done through SOSP, as I have explained before.
To register for the workshop, please visit this year's SOSP (Symposium on Operating Systems Principles) webpage<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fsigops.org%2fs%2fconferences%2fsosp%2f2026%2findex.html%23registration&c=E,1,U40bIBHBkB8V-r7rMvv6rbsOHnaGoSgI8NyiUlyRkICA5yXfJGe8pstbS7NRXIURF6A2v4ck9VQYK81t3_FX-IOg7rh1yQu-1HaPfYkQDMuI_9kNKdr_&typo=1>. This year's HotStorage is co-located with SOSP, and SOSP will handle the registration.
*
It is your choice to decide between (1) full conference + workshops or (2) workshops only. I do highly recommend that you check out the list of accepted papers at SOSP<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fsigops.org%2fs%2fconferences%2fsosp%2f2026%2faccepted.html&c=E,1,QOPSnQu8nPv8C3_h-uVOyPEP1tsXaFRaGais2EMka4kAXwkJpXFX9K6OZkLmkLZKNK_XZ9qDjoUQads0qt_W5C9zgN8q31Ulohb62y-PAZ0wIDPNUqE,&typo=1> and consider attending SOSP.
*
If you are not an ACM member, you would choose the non-member option.
*
I would imagine that the Visa support letter request<https://supportletters.acm.org/> would ask for the registration confirmation number.
I hope this clarifies your questions.
-Bryan S. Kim

Thanks Bryan,
Yes Vijay Inavolu is also planning to attend.
Couple of queries though , do all travelers need to register through SOSP ? If so, which option should we select during registration?
Since we are not ACM members, should we choose the Non-Member Workshop option?
ACM Invitation can only be done after registration?
Thanks,
Alok

Dear Alok and Pradeep,

Hello, I am Bryan S. Kim, one of the program committee co-chairs for this year's HotStorage. I first want to congratulate you on the (conditional) acceptance of your work. Please work with your assigned shepherd (Eunji Lee) to complete the final version of the paper.
To register for the workshop, please visit this year's SOSP (Symposium on Operating Systems Principles) webpage<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__sigops.org_s_conferences_sosp_2026_index.html-23registration&d=DwMFAg&c=nKjWec2b6R0mOyPaz7xtfQ&r=Qj20_cZkWXAFqNr-izZFek2OlLDmWE9MPvNfQbrTWW4&m=I5crDrvEK1h5URuVS0cy4o22uJ4yOAvMiroK5688VTERUOd_0g4OP-7OmMQKH9EP&s=zj48dxl5MaIGUzLFirExETT662_B4gnGxVfHbRcM7LE&e=>. This year's HotStorage is co-located with SOSP, and SOSP will handle the registration. At least one author needs to register to travel to the workshop for the presentation, once conditionally accepted.
The invitation letter (for VISA) can be obtained through ACM<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__supportletters.acm.org_&d=DwMFAg&c=nKjWec2b6R0mOyPaz7xtfQ&r=Qj20_cZkWXAFqNr-izZFek2OlLDmWE9MPvNfQbrTWW4&m=I5crDrvEK1h5URuVS0cy4o22uJ4yOAvMiroK5688VTERUOd_0g4OP-7OmMQKH9EP&s=fNEnkaffJepUONHPOvyRRrcBUPifg0HQ990WBB06ikc&e=>.
We hope to see you and hear more about your work at the workshop.
-Bryan S. Kim
