So, I went to compusa today and I bought a bunch of cd labels and some
paper cd sleeves. Besides the fact that they didn't have the real cheap
cd labels that I wanted, everything went fine. However, while I was at
compusa a microsoft representative was there demonstrating their new
'smart display technology' [1]. She started talking to me about it and
telling me a bunch of stuff. Then, she gave me a free pair of
headphones, and pretty decent ones at that. They say microsoft smart
display on the sides of them and stuff. Part of me feels bad because I
took the headphones that she was giving me knowing full well that I'm
likely to never buy another microsoft product again. But, the irony is
overwhelming. I was there to buy stuff for the linux users' group that
I'm a part of, and I got a free pair of headphones from microsoft.
