[LUGSB] first meeting of the semester

We won't have a projector for the first meeting. To be honest, I
haven't even been in the room yet. I'm going to go and check it out
tomorrow (monday). I don't think it's going to be big enough to
necessitate a projector. I'll be bringing my monitor down on wednesday
to show the demo on playing DVDs. Sarang, if you want to show some cool
things under KDE, maybe we could do it during the next meeting so that
we don't have one jam-packed meeting and another one with nothing going
on. I'll gladly bring my monitor down if that helps. For the next
meeting, besides demo-ing DVD playing w/ mandrake, I'm going to be
showing (off) the version of gnome I'm running in debian. I'm using
GARNOME which is an easier way of installing development versions of
GNOME. I'm currently running GNOME v2.2rc1. I also have a cvs version
of gaim running which has a bunch of neat features that everyone will
love to see.
