Hey everyone,

I recently got a laptop, and I would like to do a stage1 install of Gentoo,
as I have on my desktop, but I cannot get the wireless connection configured in
the beginning stages, so I am unable to download the current portage tree and
all that good stuff. My last resort is to go ahead and do a stage3 install,
then configure the network, however, I won't get the customization I want. I
could also probably plug it in directly for the install, but since it takes up
most of the night, I would rather do it the wireless way, if possible. The
laptop is an HP Pavillion ze4600 series, and I use a 54g linksys card (wpc54g)
along with a linksys 2.4g 802.11b access point router (befw11s4). The laptop
came with WindowsXP Home, which I will be dual booting with, for the time
being. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

Tom
