I don't know what weatherbug is, but Gnome has an applet that shows the
temperature and weather on the panel. (Add-to-panel->Accessories->Weather
Report)

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone's winter break is going really well. I just want to
fill you guys in on what's going on in the next few weeks. This coming
Tuesday (tomorrow) there is a LILUG meeting at SUNY Farmingdale. LILUG
is describing this meeting in the following way:

"We will be having another of our famous LAN parties - bring a Linux
box, join a network put togeher on the spot, and have fun learning and
sharing. We'll also be demonstrating a Debian installation as well as
discussing programming GNOME 2.x."

This promises to be an eventful meeting. LILUG also has a booth in the
.org pavilion at Linux World. For those of you who don't know, Linux
World is a tremendous conference and expo that is being held at the
Javits Center in New York City from January 21-23. At tomorrow's
meeting, LILUG will be handing out free passes to Linux World for all
those who would like to attend. I strongly recommend that anyone who is
seriously interested in Linux attend Linux World. It has also been
announced that this is going to be the last Linux World held in NYC
because it has grown too big for the Javits Center. It will likely be
held in Boston after this year. So, get to a Linux World while its
still close by. See www.lilug.org for more information regarding the
upcoming meeting like times, directions, etc. I hope to see a lot of
you there and at Linux World.

--Mark.
