[LUGSB] C or C++ Programming in Microsoft Visual C++environment

The game programming class uses the LaMothe book. Its an excellent book
on DirectX programming. I'm not sure how strong it is on actually
explaining how to use VC++ though.

Here is a link to the LaMothe book:

sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-3457870-1683068?v=glance&s=books&n=50
7846
I can't believe how cheap it is. Good deal. I'm seeing ~$13, brand new,
if you click the link that says "## used & new"

Perhaps a better book would be Programming Microsoft Visual C++ (5th
ed.). Its older, and doesn't cover .NET, but your question didn't
mention .NET.

That book is even cheaper. ~$3.25

Hope this helps.
