The nvidia documentation asks you to make sure that the 'glx' module is
loaded and that the 'dri' and 'GLcore' modules are NOT loaded.  Also, be
sure that you're using the 'nvidia' driver in the device section of the
X config file and not 'nv'.  'nv' is the nvidia module provided by X
which is not going to get you accelerated 3d.
