RTFM = Read The F***ing Manual

To see a default list of common comands you can look in /usr/bin, /usr/sbin
and /bin, /sbin

To get help with a command read the manual pages.

Example:

soparla at inspiron soparla $ cd /
soparla at inspiron / $ ls /bin

Formatting page, please wait...

And from here you're taken to an enviroment similar to that of vi
at the bottom press q [enter] to quit
Use the up arrow and down arrow to move up and down.

Note that some commands might be there some might not, depends on what you
have installed on your PC.

Some commands are common for some distros and some are not. Some commands are
just common to linux/unix word and so on... So if I were you I'll purchase a
book on how to run Linux. At the next meeting as about the cupon code for
O'Relli... if our club still has it :)
