Well, I just tested it by subscribing with a separate email address and
then unsubscribing.  Unsubscribing definitely works.  I am almost
positive that there was a problem with it a little over a year ago, but
there is certainly no problem with it now.  So, I guess it is okay to
flame people who post their unsubscription requests to the list.  :o)
