[LUGSB] introduction and question

I use OptimumOnline and am fairly happy with the service. I typically
get 1 MB/sec downloads and 120kB/sec uploads. They block incoming
connections on port 80 and 25. As far as I know, those are the only
ports that are blocked.
One caveat though is that if you saturate your uplink for a long time
(i.e. several days at a stretch), they'll assume you're running a server
and choke your upload speed to 20kB/sec until you call them. Running a
"server" (whatever that means) violates their terms of service.
