Hello Everyone,

This is just a reminder that I'll be giving a talk about intellectual
property and free culture at the LILUG meeting tonight. The talk is
titled "How Free Culture Works" or "Intellectual Property and Why You
Shouldn't Call It That" and will be held at SUNY Farmingdale in room 150
of Whitman Hall at 8:00pm tonight, October 11th.

The talk will be covering the basics of what is commonly termed
intellectual property (copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets)
and then cover how this all applies to free culture in general and free
software in particular.

Be sure to come down to LILUG and catch the talk. For more information
about LILUG or directions to the meeting, visit www.lilug.org

Thanks,
Mark Drago
