Subject: LUGSB - Engineering Fair (FREE FOOD!)
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the Stony Brook Engineering Fair. CEAS
has been kind enough to give us our very own table and banner to recruit
new members. In addition to this, CEAS has offered to fund us
financially if we seem to have a good amount of interested people hanging
around our table. I would like to ask all of our members to come along,
and to bring some friends too. If you have a laptop running Linux, or if
you have any cute little Tux ornaments to decorate our table with, please
do let us borrow them for the afternoon.
The Engineering Fair is from 12:45 until 3:00 in the Engineering Quad (the
area between Heavy, Light, and regular Engineering buildings). There will
be free hamburgers and hotdogs, soda, chips, and ice cream!
See you there,
Kimberly Albrecht

PS - If you are a Computer Science or Informations System major with U3 or
U4 status, and have a major GPA of 3.5 or more, be sure to stop by the UPE
CS/IS Honor Society table too!

It used to be said [...] that AIX looks like one space alien discovered
Unix, and described it to another different space alien who then implemented
AIX. But their universal translators were broken and they'd had to gesture a
lot.
