15 seconds of Googling tells me that you should try using Mandriva's package
manager, urpmi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urpmi). Mandriva will
definitely have the packages you need, and this is the easiest way to
install them, since urpmi takes care of the dependencies for you.
urpmi should already be included in your Mandriva installation.
