[LUGSB] Network card for Linux Access Point?

Not sure off the top of my head, though I'd bet the older atheros
chipsets would be good (and now everyone yell at me for being wrong, eh?
:-p).
Amusingly, at home we just replaced an old 450mhz amd machine running
devil linux as a gateway/firewall with a Linksys wrt54gl running dd-wrt.
You may want to look into that if you want a small form-factor linux
machine that'll act as a good router and guaranteed chipset support. Not
amazing if you want a good hacking/learning experience mucking around
with the guts of iptables though :-P....
If you want something a bit more hackable, but still similar, I've heard
good things about the avila chips (http://www.gateworks.com/) , and
there's cerainly other such products.
